Digitech Systems Takes Its ASP To The Enterprise Market

Greenwood Village, CO—October 1, 2003 — Digitech Systems, Inc. announced today the unveiling of their latest version of ImageSiloSM, its industry-leading, secure Hosted Document and Content Management repository. This latest release is specifically designed to facilitate the management and flow of company information for organizations of any size. Built to meet the unique requirements of application service provider (ASP) customers, ImageSilo delivers all the benefits of their popular PaperVision® Enterprise desktop software solution and combines it with the simplicity, efficiency, and economic benefit of a world class ASP. According to Scott Norton, Director of Sales for Digitech Systems, “This step in our evolution uniquely gives our customers the real option of either buying or renting the benefits of enterprise-wide electronic document and content management.”

Global unlimited system access and administration are the hallmark of ImageSilo. Unlike server-based enterprise solutions, ImageSilo provides unlimited access to unlimited viewers and can be both administered and accessed remotely from anywhere there is an Internet connection, without purchasing additional software or components. ImageSilo can also be securely accessed and administrated via Digitech Systems’s PaperVision Enterprise desktop client which requires neither a web browser nor a license fee.

Other key enhancements to ImageSilo include robust full-text search capabilities, native viewing of over 250 different document and image file types, version tracking and enhanced auditing capabilities that specifically address HIPAA and FDA legislation. It also provides support for COLD/ERM data, an optional WorkFlow component, and greater support for loading data of virtually any type, from virtually any source via open-scripted XML data loads.

This latest version of ImageSilo also introduces a new breed of interoperability and flexibility for third-party systems integration. To facilitate integration with multiple operating platforms and applications, ImageSilo offers three levels of API’s through a new API Toolkit, for those who wish to integrate the benefits of electronic document and content management into existing applications. Included are a Web Services API, a COM-based API and a number of ActiveX (OCX) controls which can be embedded in other applications.

This latest version of ImageSilo also incorporates an optional WorkFlow module with a simple to use and easily configurable icon-based interface to simplify creation and completion of WorkFlow processes. Extensive tracking features audit the entire WorkFlow instance and allow administrators to step in at any point in the process.

Current users of ImageSilo can expect nominal inconvenience during the upgrade conversion, which Digitech Systems expects will be completed the end of this month. “ImageSilo has been extremely successful for Digitech Systems and will play a pervasive role in our future growth,” said HK Bain, Digitech Systems’s CEO.
